Ever wonder what happens when you plug in a new keyboard or flash drive? Do you have any idea where to start with writing a USB driver for your new hardware? Come to the USB workshop to get a handle of the situation and learn how USB works.

Good evening SCE! Just a heads up we will be holding an intro to PCB workshop next week. The PCB workshop will introduce the basics of PCB design, manufacturing, and component sourcing. We will be going through the basics of how to use DipTrace, how to manufacture your PCB using Bay Area Circuits or Osh Park, as well as how to find components using mouser and digikey.

The workshop will be run by Khalil Estell who is the executive advisor of the Software and Computer Engineering Society. Please come by and learn more about him at the workshop. Hope to see everyone there!

Good evening SCE! We are glad to announce our upcoming Verilog workshop. We will be covering the following topics: drawing tool (Draw.io), external text editor (Sublime), understanding waveforms, debugging using the schematics, mapping out constraint files, introduction to tasks, etc. This workshop will be run by Vincent Chu, a Computer Engineer in his Senior year.

Fun Fact: Vincent enjoys making art our of paper. Some of his art pieces have been shown off in SCE this past week.
