[NEW] Lockheed Martin Information Session
If you are interested in tacking the challenges facing our communities, our country, and the world, chances are that Lockheed Martin is working on them. We are looking for college students and graduates ready to start their careers in a meaningful way in the areas of: aerospace engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, finance, human resources, industrial engineering, materials science, math and physics, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, and supply chain. Remember to bring a resume to this event!

[NEW] NIO Information Session with SWE
Come and meet NIO, a company focused on leading the way in smart, electric and autonomous vehicles. They will be talking about personal experiences being a woman in tech, how the industry has changed for women in tech, overcoming obstacles in a male dominated industry, AI, and more! Don’t miss this opportunity! One of our SCE alumn are coming to speak at this event–her name is Yara and she majored in Computer Engineering.

Dockers and Containers with Hong Joon Chew
Docker containers are commonly used in the industry as an infrastructure tool to deploy various services in real time so users have the most on demand experience. Developers use this to test an application they built and custom fit it an environment.
This workshop will teach the benefits and uses of containerization and a short tutorial on getting started with using Docker containers.
When: Thursday, February 28, 6-8pm

[✔️] SCE & AOE Game Night
SCE held a game night social with Alpha Omega Epsilon, an engineering sorority on campus that promotes women in engineering and technical sciences! Game night was a success with many Smash tournaments, board games, and great food!
[✔️] IBM Company Tour
SCE visited the IBM Research – Almaden campus on Monday to learn about more about the company’s past experiences and future plans! We got a chance to see some very exciting presentations about AI and machine learning from employees who have been working at IBM for 10+ years.
