- have 2 or more summers prior to completion of undergraduate degree
- have a career interest in Business, Egineering, Computer & Information Sciences, Sale, Marketing, Health
- be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8

Linux Installfest

Where: SCE Club Room (Engr 294)
The Society for Computer Engineering (SCE) will be hosting a Linux Installfest. This is an excellent opportunity to get assistance in installing or configuring your Linux system. We will help you dual-boot in Windows and Linux as well as run Linux in a virtual machine such as VMware. Downloadable copies of Ubuntu, CentOS, and other leading distributions as well as CD's and DVD's of Fedora Core 9 will be available for free.

There are great opportunities for Engineering Majors with companies such as Accenture LLC, Applied Materials, BAE Systems, Cisco Systems, EMC Corporation, Hitachi, Intuit and more! Of the 111 employers attending, 65% are looking for engineering students, and of those, 32% are offering internship and co-op positions! Students can access detailed information on all employers, positions they seek to fill, majors sought, and how to prepare for the fair, by logging in to SpartaSystem on our Website: SJSU Career Center.
*Students who complete an online Job Fair Success Workshop which prepares them for a more effective presentation of their skills and experience are eligible to enter the fair at noon!
